You can expect to see these guys in upcoming installments of Blood Hunter. I skipped the inks on this page to save time but I kind of liked the effect that I got so I may incorporate this style in some flash-back sequences.

I'm rarely ever happy with the transition from my pencils to inks and I always feel my initial drawing looses a bit of "soul". I'm definitely going to explore this technique further.
i've been in the same mind set of branching out. with printing and web stuff being able to handle more than black and white, it's silly to just limit ourselves to only those two options all the time.
